At apply time the playbook reads CPU vendor and generation, chassis, thermals and power state — then applies matched power plans, core parking, idle states and undervolting where the silicon allows it. On battery it holds back.

Desktop and Laptop, picked automatically.
Two driver profiles applied silently by chassis. Same low-latency core, different where heat and battery matter.

Under the hood
How the tuning works.
No magic numbers without a reason.
- ThrottleStop, automated — installed via winget, never bundled. A profile is generated from your hardware: EPP for AC and DC, core/cache undervolt, BD PROCHOT + C1E on hot laptops.
- cr1mix power-plan — one plan for desktops, one for laptops, picked automatically.
- Core parking — parking policy rewritten per power plan, paired with EPP-tuned plans.
- Timer resolution — global timer requests plus native tools for sub-millisecond pacing.
- NVIDIA via NVAPI — the Base Profile written straight into the driver store, verified live on hardware.
